For three days from 12 to 14 October 2016, over 28,000 international buyers and hardware industry specialists will convene at the Greater Taichung International Expo Centre to see the newest high-technology hardware products and solutions at the 16th Taiwan Hardware Show (THS).

THS 2016 Meets High Hardware Demand Across Asia

Asia’s rapid industrial development has triggered widespread demand for large quantity of hardware required in key industries such as automotive, construction, electronics and other thriving economic areas. With a growing middle class and higher disposable income across Asia Pacific’s emerging markets, the region has recorded strong increase in consumer expenditure on maintenance and repairs for household. Global hardware spending is expected to rise to USD 1,100.2 billion in 2018, with Asia Pacific as the most active market. Closing in on the home construction sub-sector, the global builders and cabinet hardware market is projected to reach USD 18.1 billion in 2020, with Asia Pacific as the fastest growing market at 8.1%.
