2019 The Taiwan Hardware Show

Asia-Pacific’s Top Hardware Exhibition

In conjunction with the Taichung City Government, the Taiwan Hardware Show (THS 2019) - organized by Kaigo Company Ltd. and co-organized by Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers’ Association, will take place at the Taichung International Exhibition Centre from October 17 to 19. This year the show is bigger than ever, with more than 430 firms  globally signing up. With more than 1,000 booths, the scale of the event never ceases to impress.

 

As the third largest manufacturer and exporter of hardware and hand tools in the world, Taiwan earns its reputation from its innovative culture, diversity, ability to differentiate, and to customize. In 2018, Taiwan’s total production value of hardware and hand tools has reached more than 122 billion New Taiwan Dollars, while export values reached 2.132 billion US dollars, breaking national records.

 

This year, THS will continue to gather manufacturers from all over Taiwan. By providing value-added business matchmaking services, holding forums on industrial trends, new product releases, and arranging factory visits, THS is a premium one-stop procurement platform that effectively resonates three goals, procurement and matchmaking, business development, and B2B partnership building.

Higher Publicity through EDRA in an Attempt to Expand European Market

THS, now in its 19th reiteration, has long worked with hardware and hand tool industries in Taiwan to expand internationally. Not only has THS become synonymous as a professional exhibition of hardware industry in Taiwan, it has also become the top international hardware exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region. To increase publicity of THS, Kaigo Company Ltd. participated in the Global DIY Summit in Europe this June. An annual commercial exhibition with the expertise in the global DIY industry. During the summit, many opportunities were granted to cordially invite international buyers and to invite the European DIY Retail Association to join THS.

Buyers from around the Globe Invited to “Hand Tool Cluster & Industry Procurement Day” 

In collaboration with Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), THS for the first time created an event called “Hand Tool Cluster & Industry Procurement Day” in 2018, which was widely acclaimed and marked with excellence. This year, both parties once again teamed up and expanded the event, TAITRA has invited famous global buyers from various industries such as aerospace, medical, automobile repair, garden, general industry, as well as digital tool industry, assisting businesses in Taiwan to provide a matchmaking platform and seize opportunities. Taiwan can once again observe amazing export performance that reaches hundreds of billions of NT dollars due to such an event.

DIY International Coming to Taiwan to Help Enhance Global Vision

To help enhance THS’s global presence, THS this year invites Rainer Strand, the Managing Editor of DIY International, a leading press release company covering DIY hardware industries around the world. Strand will exchange views with businesses at THS and provide insights on the latest industry demand, trends, and development in the world. The information Strand has to offer is vital in developing R&D or sales strategies in the future.

An Internationally Diverse Event Is Valuable in Promoting Industrial Exchanges

THS is a valuable exhibition by the testimonies of many international businesses. This year, for the first time German firms Dursol-Fabrik and Meller Tools have decided to join THS. Japanese firm Fujiwara Sangyo Co., Ltd. also advocates THS as one of the most important events for international marketing. In addition, to better assist attending firms to enhance their production and warehousing management skills, Taiwan Warehouse Solution Corp. for the first time has been invited to THS, providing the fair with a new scope. Lastly, THS invites experts from the industry to give talks on the latest trends and changes in hardware international trade and industries, so that businesses in Taiwan can better grasp the latest trade and skills trends.
